CBD PROGRAM CHANGES
Since the 1st of July 2017, the area threshold for the CBD (Commercial Building Disclosure) program was lowered from 2000m² to 1000m².
Under the changes, a Building Energy Efficiency Certificate is required for any office space of 1000m² or more before it is offered for sale or lease. A BEEC is made up of two components, a NABERS rating and a tenant lighting assessment.
